From the founders
We grew up around music - recitals, rehearsals, a studio that somehow ran on one person's memory and a tab for everything. One of us lived it for years: the lesson book in one tab, who-paid-what in another, credits in a third that never quite added up.
And somewhere under all that admin, the part that actually mattered kept slipping. The student who'd quietly stopped coming. The renewal nobody chased. The small wins no one had time to notice.
The work that mattered was the work the spreadsheet kept burying.
So we stopped wishing and built it - the one that handles the admin so the teaching gets to be the teaching. It started in music schools. But the first time we showed it to a swim coach, a tutor, a personal trainer, we heard the same thing back: that's exactly my problem too.
So we grew Westra to fit all of them - anyone whose work is booked, one person at a time.
